Show the work
Give prospective clients enough visual evidence to decide whether the studio fits what they are looking for.
Independent concept · Tattoo studio
A dedicated studio experience built around discovering the work and requesting a structured consultation.
View live project ↗Designed independently for an existing tattoo studio. This was not a commissioned client project.

I discovered Wisdomless while researching tattoo studios online. The studio had an existing online presence and a recognizable visual character, but no dedicated website.
I used the identity and cues already visible online as the starting point for an independent concept. The objective was to translate that character into a website that could showcase the work and give interested visitors a clear next step.

The experience
Give prospective clients enough visual evidence to decide whether the studio fits what they are looking for.
Turn that interest into a structured consultation request.
Not every visitor arrives ready to enquire. The experience supports both exploration and action instead of pushing everyone directly into a form.
Decision 01
Someone discovering the studio may want to explore previous work first. Someone already familiar with it may be ready to enquire immediately.
The hero gives both intentions a direct path without forcing both visitors through the same journey.
Explore the work
For visitors still evaluating.
Request a consultation
For visitors ready to take the next step.

Decision 02
Tattooing is visual and highly dependent on style. Previous work is treated as a core part of the experience, helping visitors understand the range and explore what is relevant to their idea.

Decision 03
A generic contact form would establish contact but provide little context about the tattoo itself.
The consultation flow creates a more structured handoff between browsing the portfolio and starting a conversation.

Consultation flow
The consultation form is connected to a Supabase backend. Submissions are stored as database records, allowing the form-to-database flow to be tested as part of the prototype.
Prototype scope
The prototype stores consultation requests. It does not include appointment scheduling, staff notifications or an administration dashboard.
A dark, high-contrast palette, strong typography, large imagery and restrained supporting elements keep the interface deliberate without competing with the tattoo work.

The mobile experience preserves the hierarchy between discovery, portfolio exploration and consultation instead of simply shrinking the desktop layout.

The final experience

Translating an existing business character into a distinct web experience.
Structuring the site around what a prospective tattoo client needs to see and understand.
Using previous work as part of the customer evaluation journey.
Creating a clear path from exploration to a structured consultation request.
Maintaining the experience across desktop and mobile.
Connecting the consultation interface to a working Supabase backend.
Wisdomless was built independently rather than through a commissioned client engagement, so I did not have access to the studio's internal workflow, customer data or operational requirements.
In a production version, I would validate the consultation flow with the studio and extend it around their actual process. That could include enquiry management, staff notifications, artist assignment, availability, appointment scheduling and an internal dashboard.
The current project deliberately stops earlier: at a working experience that takes someone from discovering the studio to submitting a structured consultation request.
